Barefoot Resort Residential Association (BRRA)

Barefoot Resort Residential Association (BRRA) represents a planned development of twenty-six neighborhoods consisting of single-family and multi-family residential units with a wide range of unit and lot sizes to appeal to a wide range of buyers, nestled within a world-class resort. Barefoot Resort & Golf also features a marina, high rise condominiums on the Intracoastal Waterway, commercial businesses, four golf courses, clubhouses, support amenities including pools, tennis courts, fitness facilities, docks, transportation services, along with a supporting infrastructure and designated natural and open spaces.

The Barefoot Resort Residential Association (BRRA) is responsible for the original twenty-six neighborhoods.

The BRRA neighborhoods were developed throughout four top-rated golf courses – Dye, Fazio, Love, and Norman. All four champion golf courses officially opened on April 13, 2000, a feat said to be the first such venture in history. The same day the BRRA Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions for Barefoot Resort Residential Properties was filed with the Horry County Register of Deeds, and Barefoot Residential was born.

Featuring pristine grounds and a private beach cabana with parking for all owners and their guests, this 2,300-acre twenty-six neighborhood community offers something for everyone. In addition to golf, all Barefoot residents enjoy the proximity to Barefoot Landing, just across the historic swing bridge, with its many shops and restaurants, the House of Blues and the Alabama Theater.

Single-Family Neighborhoods

Single-family homes in eleven communities offer a wide range of home sizes, lot sizes, and price points to suit your needs, all overlooking golf courses, beautiful ponds with fountains, and natural areas.

Most single-family residents participate in the Residents’ Club, with its expansive pool, tennis courts, fitness center, family playground, and many organized activities and social events.

Multi-Family Neighborhoods

Multi-family neighborhoods overlook the year-round groomed golf courses, beautiful ponds with fountains, and natural areas. Barefoot features three types of condominium units:

Golf villas offer roomy 1, 2 and 3-bedroom condos in 3-story buildings with outside entrances, outside stairways and generous parking areas.

Secure-entry low-rise condominiums feature spacious 2 to 3-bedroom units, elevators, furnished foyers, private garages, and carpeted hallways. All are 3 stories; some include gated entrances.

Townhome developments feature spacious 2 to 4-bedroom homes with private 1 or 2-car garages and landscaping. These units all feature ground floor entries including screened porches and/or private courtyards. Some townhome communities are gated.

Multi-family homes feature private community pools, many with grills and picnic tables, some with private clubhouses. Amenities in HOA dues may include Internet, phone, security, basic cable, water, pest control, landscape maintenance, exterior insurance, and trash removal.
