Due to the necessary repairs and replacement that owners are faced with, please use caution when selecting services as provided by contractors to ensure that you are not being overcharged. It has been reported that there have been unscrupulous contractors approaching owners that provided prices that seem to be exorbitant. The best thing you can do is obtain 2-3 offers to provide price comparisons. Due to the damage caused to common area property the Association cannot not begin clean up efforts/debris removal on the common areas until the Association’s Insurance Company adjusters have completed inspections of the common area. It may be the middle to the end of the week before inspections have been complete and clean up can begin. |

New Association Directory |
|
Check it out! The new Association Directory is now Live! To learn how to register and get a tour of the features, Click Here to Watch a Video Overview. To register, simply click on the Register link under the login field in the upper-right hand corner of the screen.
When you register, you will be asked to provide some basic contact information including your community address, name, phone number, and email address. All of this information is required to establish an account. However, you can opt to not publish your address, phone number and email address. If you do publish your information, it will only be visible to other registered residents. You will also have the option to list an alternative address, in case you live at another address part of the year and want neighbors to be able to reach you in the event of an emergency. You can also list another person on your account and you can indicate what your interests are. For example, card or running. This will facilitate hooking up with others that share your interests.
Why Register?
In addition to being able to communicate with others in your community, you can also opt in to receiving community announcements via email. Your OMNI representatives will be able to make you aware of association event, announcements, and community news. If every resident was registered, mailing costs for the community could be reduced or eliminate, because there is no postage for email! :)

Please be advised that there have been reports of break-ins of homes, units and vehicles throughout Barefoot Resort. The City of North Myrtle Beach has increased the presence of officers throughout the community and is actively investigating the crimes. The Barefoot Resort Residential Association Board of Directors has met and discussed this matter with various members of the Police Department and City Council Members.
Please be vigilant of your surroundings at all times. Listed below are items that will assist everyone in discouraging crime.
Be alert, keep your house/unit doors locked, and keep garage doors closed and locked. It is also a good idea to remove the garage door remote control from your vehicle.
Do not keep valuables in your vehicle and always lock your car doors. You should remove purses, wallets, briefcases, money, computers etc.
Trim all high shrubs down below your windows on all sides of your home.
If you are going to travel ask a neighbor to keep an eye on your home. Stop mail and newspaper delivery. Set a timer to turn lights and radios on and off at the times you would normally be home.
Be watchful of your neighborhood. If you notice suspicious activities, people, vehicles we urge you to contact the North Myrtle Beach Police Department. For life threatening or medical emergencies dial 911. For non-emergencies call 843-280-5511.
For the Barefoot Resort Residential Association Board of Directors,
Sincerely,
Kelly White, CMCA, AMS Community Manager Barefoot Resort Residential Association, Inc. OMNI Management Services, Inc. |
